Portion sizes and pricing swing widely across this group, from a $10 lunch bowl to a multi-course tasting menu at an upscale sushi counter, so checking recent reviews and photos is more useful than the price range alone. In New York, dinner reservations for popular izakaya, hot pot and Korean BBQ spots fill up on Friday and Saturday nights, so booking ahead or arriving at opening is worth it. Many restaurants across New York run daily lunch specials on weekdays that are not listed on the dinner menu, so it is worth asking. Halal, vegetarian and gluten-free options vary a lot by kitchen; call ahead if you have a dietary restriction rather than assuming the menu will note it.
Hours are published for 2 days a week. The most common schedule is 11 AMβ10 PM. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. You can reach Kyoto Hibachi at (646) 329-6932; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions. Its website is kyotonyc.com, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.
Customers rate it 4.4 out of 5 on Google across 97 reviews, placing it among the better-regarded japanese & sushi in New York.
New York is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and New York follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

I recently visited and wanted to share my experience. The food was absolutely delicious and incredibly fresh. I thoroughly enjoyed the Spicy Tuna Avo. Roll, Veg Gyoza, Lobster General Roll, Edamame, Philadelphia Roll, and the Japanese Green Tea (iced). The quality of the food is truly impressive; honestly, if it were plated on beautiful ceramic dishes instead of takeout-style plastic containers, it could easily pass as high-quality restaurant food. The main drawback is the dining environment. With only five seats in one window, two in another, and an additional four on the side facing the wall, the setup feels more like a fast-food place than a sit-down restaurant. It's a great spot if you prioritize fresh flavors over atmosphere, but itβs definitely not a destination for a relaxed, fine-dining experience.

Absolutely loved the chicken katsu bento box. The chicken was cooked perfectly β crispy, golden, and full of flavour without feeling greasy. Every part of the bento tasted fresh, especially the rice and salad, and the balance of flavours was spot on.

Beautiful clean shop, friendly & quick staff, & delicious meal. Great options for every price range. Highly recommend! I tried: $19 bento box with Chicken Katsu, + the Heat Roll. (Heat roll may have been my favorite!)

Expected higher quality chicken teriyaki, protein quality and teriyaki glaze was just okay.. entree portion with soup included was good but just didnt justify the pricing with extra chicken. Vibes are mainly takeout with some seating.
